Customers order and pay online, you weigh it on your own scales, and Carverly charges the weighed price. Christmas order books with slots and limits, a counter tablet you can use with greasy fingers, and no monthly fee to start.

How it works
The tablet on your counter sounds until someone answers. Accept with a ready time, or say why you can’t.
Type the weight off your own scales. Mark anything you’re out of, or swap it for something close.
We charge the weighed price and release the rest of the hold. The customer gets a text that it’s ready.
A day after collection the money goes to your Stripe account, and Stripe pays it into your bank. A no-show has already paid, so it costs you nothing.
Order books
Open your Christmas book in November with your own prices, collection days and slots. Cap the turkeys, limit the ribs per customer, take a deposit when you accept. Every open book shows up to customers nearby.

Pro’s first 3 months are paid together when you switch (£117), then it’s monthly.
When a customer orders, we hold the estimate plus a buffer (10% by default) on their card. You weigh it, tap Ready, and we charge exactly the weighed price and release the rest. If a cut comes in heavier than the hold, we top up automatically within a small limit, or ask the customer to approve it, or you take it at the counter.
No. Use your own scales and type the weight into the tablet. Any tablet with a modern browser works; we recommend one with a stand by the counter.
The tablet keeps ringing until someone does. If nobody answers before the deadline, the order is cancelled and the customer’s hold is released, so they’re never charged for something you didn’t make.
Each order’s money goes to your own Stripe account 24 hours after it’s collected, so anything the customer flags can be put right first, and Stripe pays out to your bank. You can see what’s on its way, and your payouts, from the Money screen.
Yes. You get carverly.co.uk/your-shop and a printable QR poster for the window. It opens your page inside the marketplace.
No. Starter has no monthly fee and you can leave whenever you like. Pro starts with 3 months paid upfront, then goes month to month, and you can switch back to Starter whenever you like: Pro ends when the time you’ve paid for does.
